The LG BD570 Network Blu Ray Disc Player is not just another DVD player. It’s so much more.
The BD570 will enhance your home entertainment system with wireless connectivity, media streaming choices, DVD Upscaling, DLNA certified, and excellent blu ray image quality. The BD570 is a stand alone player and follow up to last years BD390 model. This newer model boasts a new more streamline design. The more shallow design has a slimline profile with front panel that flips open for access to the USB port.
Arguably one of the most intriguing features of the BD570 is its media streaming. Accessing the streaming media is through LGs Netcast service. This service allows access to loads of streaming content that can all be enjoyed right on your HDTV, no computer required. Access Netflix, Youtube, Pandora, CinemaNow, VuDu, Picasa, and Accuweather from your BD570 player.
The LG BD570 offers plenty of options when it comes to set up and use in your home theatre setting. Located on the rear of the unit are the Ethernet LAN port, HDMI output, co-axial and optical digital audio output, composite video and stereo audio outputs, and a component video output as well.
The 802.11 integrated wi-fi means no more Ethernet connection in your living room to enjoy the streaming media features. Using the USB port located on the front panel of the player, you can watch or listen to your personal library of videos, music, and photos through the integrated USB port. And due to the DLAN technology, media stored on your home network is also accessible for viewing using the BD570.
